Inspired by Saints Francis and Clare, I seek to be sister while honoring the age-old rhythm of prayer and action that has captured my heart for years. As a Franciscan Sister of Little Falls, I’m grateful for our shared life as we explore the mystery and challenge of living in communion with God and fostering community wherever we are.
I find that Franciscan values of ongoing conversion, prayer, poverty, and minority/humility offer paths to peace that honor the common good in response to the tremendous challenges of poverty and violence in this 21st Century. Let us foster right relationships with others and with the gift of creation together as Sisters, Associates, friends and partners in mission, as well as among those with whom we live and work. May we risk joining in the great enterprise of bringing God’s Kindom into being.
