The Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls, Minnesota, are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Timothy J. Houle as their new Chief Operating Officer, effective September 9. Tim recently retired as county administrator for Crow Wing County; prior to that he was the county administrator for Morrison County.
As COO, Tim will oversee internal operations for the Franciscan Sisters and play a key role in planning for the future of the organization. His experience and leadership skills are a perfect fit for the Franciscan Sisters, a religious community with a 133-year history of serving central Minnesota and beyond.
“We are pleased to welcome Tim, a longtime friend and close neighbor of our Franciscan community. Tim brings extensive leadership and administrative experience to this new COO position. His focus will be internal operations, future planning and networking with external organizations as our representative,” said Sister Bea Eichten, community minister for the Franciscan Sisters.
In Tim’s words, "I am humbled to be of service to the Franciscan Sisters, especially after their more than 100 years of service to our area and to ministries far and wide. I am happy to be helping them with administrative necessities so they can free up more time for their ministry interests and for planning their long-term legacy. What a privilege to help; I'm excited to get started."
