The 2023 Senior Honor Program of the Little Falls Community High School was held on May 10, 2023 in the Charles D. Martin Auditorium for graduating seniors. Sister Cordy Korkowski, Director of Donor Relations, presented the Sister Judine Scholarship of $500 to Ashley Hagen, daughter of Jennifer and Chris Hagen. Ashley was deeply appreciative of this scholarship. She will be attending the University of Minnesota, Duluth, for studies in healthcare. Ashley has been an excellent student and will be delivering the class presentation at her 2023 graduation class ceremony.
Hannah Jennings, daughter of Dan and Michelle Jennings, received the CEC $500 Sister Judine Cassidy Scholarship on Thursday, May 18. Sister Cordy Korkowski, director of Donor Relations, made the presentation on behalf of the Franciscan Sisters. Hannah will pursue studies in nursing at Central Lakes Community College in Brainerd. Christie Halladay, director of the Continuing Education Center, applauded the Franciscan Sisters for their years of interest and support of the students and program, having provided a space for CEC for nearly 28 years. In addition, the alumnae of St. Francis High School have donated to make scholarships available for students who are pursuing studies in education or health care.
