On June 30, the Music Center bid a very fond farewell to Olivia Munson. Olivia joined the faculty in September 2020 teaching strings, piano and conducting the St. Francis Concert Orchestra. Originally, Olivia planned to teach at the Music Center and tour with her quartet, formed when she attended St. Olaf College. Unfortunately, COVID-19 put an end to those plans. This spring Olivia was offered a full scholarship to get her master’s degree at Amhurst College in Boston—an offer she could not refuse! We wish Olivia the very best. She was a wonderful addition to the Music Center. Her one regret is that she never performed in the Chapel—so she promises to return one day to do that!
