A Give to the Max thank you

Dear Friend,

GTMDThe Franciscan Sisters have much to be grateful for this Thanksgiving season. Our recent success with Give to the Max Day is a case in point. With 160 online donations, $20,000 in matching gifts and donations directly through our Development Office, we raised over $41,165 for this year’s Give to the Max. People were generous beyond words. Thank you!

This year’s Give to the Max Day appeal highlighted our ministries geared toward children and young people. You can see the accomplishments of St. Francis Music Center at the upcoming orchestra and choir concerts on December 6 and 13 in Sacred Heart Chapel. Our Franciscan Community Volunteers are doing the work of the gospel at various nonprofits serving children and families in the St. Cloud area. In Mexico teen missionaries and young lay leaders are planning Advent activities and scripture study. And before we know it, we’ll be getting ready for Franciscan Girls Camp and Green Fair Folk Festival where we truly reach out to youth in Little Falls and the surrounding area.

Your generosity on Give to the Max Day supports our programs, ministries and outreach to youth. Please accept our sincere thanks. May the Lord bless you and keep you this Thanksgiving and throughout Advent and the Christmas season.

The Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls, Minnesota, is a community of Catholic women religious who follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ, walking in the footsteps of Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi. We believe that the living of a poor, simple and prayerful community life is a ministry of presence and witness. Our doors are open to the public to celebrate Mass in Sacred Heart Chapel and to benefit from the St. Francis Music Center and St. Francis Health & Recreation Center. We welcome those who wish to join us as sisters, associates, volunteers, transfer sisters, friends and donors.
