Franciscan Community Volunteers (FCV), a growing ministry of the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls, invites the public to attend their fund raiser, the sixth annual “Taste of St. Cloud,” on Monday, May 1, 4:30-7:30 p.m., at the Territory Golf Course/Coyote Moon Grille in St. Cloud. Guests will enjoy an array of delicious cuisines from local restaurants. There will be live entertainment and a silent auction. Come meet the Franciscan Community Volunteers and be amazed at the ways they have enriched the people of the St. Cloud area. You’ll also have an opportunity to visit many Franciscan Sisters and friends.

The mission of FCV is to accompany young men and women, ages 21-30, to grow in Christian discipleship and leadership through Franciscan spirituality, full-time service and community life. Volunteers make a 10 ½-month commitment to work full time with local nonprofit agencies that serve the needs of the poor and marginalized while accepting the challenge of living simply and in accordance with Gospel values.

The Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls, Minnesota, is a community of Catholic women religious who follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ, walking in the footsteps of Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi. We believe that the living of a poor, simple and prayerful community life is a ministry of presence and witness. Our doors are open to the public to celebrate Mass in Sacred Heart Chapel and to benefit from the St. Francis Music Center and St. Francis Health & Recreation Center. We welcome those who wish to join us as sisters, associates, volunteers, transfer sisters, friends and donors.
