Franciscan Gift Shop
 We welcome visitors to appreciate, and take with them, the beauty and art found in the Franciscan Gift Shop. Creative pieces are expresions from sisters and others. These artists and crafters are moved by the Spirit, personal prayer, and reverence for the Earth to make a variety of beautiful items. Proceeds benefit Franciscan missions and ministries.
“The shop continues to evolve as sisters bring more items, volunteers make suggestions and the newly-created Advisory Board recommends gift ideas,” says shop manager Sister Janice Welle. Part of the mission of the Gift Shop, which is located in the new west entrance of St. Francis convent, is to offer items and crafts that express the Franciscan values. The sisters handcraft many of the items, including greeting cards, quilts, candles, handbags and much more. Franciscan artists add paintings and pottery to the selection. A unique feature is the photo and script of each artist and crafter displayed next to the items. There’s something for everyone!
