Lots of family fun, interesting displays, fantastic music and exhibitors—all with a green message—are the highlights of this year’s event. Bring along your blankets or folding chairs and enjoy the wide variety of musical entertainment! Appearing on stage from 4-5 p.m., will be Homespun Jammin; from 5-6 p.m., Knotted Clover will perform traditional Celtic tunes and more. Then the bands from St. Francis Music Center’s URock Camp will take the stage. This year’s bands include: The Rhythmics, DreamCatcher, Rumbling Rox and Wink 91.
Kids can visit the Teddy Bear Clinic and stuffed animal adoption center or participate in a Bike Rodeo hosted by the Little Falls Police Department. Attendees 18 years of age and older can register to win a free heavy-duty steel utility wagon that has been donated or register at St. Francis Music Center’s booth to win CDs by the Grammy winning Okee Dokee Brothers! Sign-up for an indoor tour; Ride the horse-drawn wagon and enjoy an outdoor tour of the campus grounds. Check-out the variety of food vendors while enjoying some of the many treats, including the 25-cent Franciscan peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
The Green Fair Folk Festival, an evening of universal ecological awareness, is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls.
