Representatives from the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls attended the Catholic Charities Mardi Gras on Saturday evening, January 31, to support their social service work in the St. Cloud Diocese, of which Little Falls is a part. Catholic Charities is a non-profit organization that advances the charitable and social mission of the Diocese of St. Cloud. They build communities, promote family life and enhance human dignity by providing quality services to meet the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of individuals and families of all faiths and beliefs. “We support the great work of Catholic Charities,” said Sister Bea Eichten, Community Minister of the Franciscan Sisters, “and we believe in their motto of ‘Together we can make a different tomorrow’ for so many people. We are happy to support them in whatever way we can.” Standing from left are Sister Cordy Korkowski, Sister Bea Eichten, Sister Clara Stang, Sister Grace Skwira, Deanna Boone and Sister Michelle L’Allier.
